Crafty.
Just a couple of masks (the eyes are cut out) for some dolls or collage pieces...Whichever. An Axolotl and a Sunbear! I'm thinking I might make some large size as well, but depends. Ya know...use them for photoshoots because that's how I roll. Throw in some body painting. It's a fun little side project anyways, but check out my weave!

Stained.
And I drew some owls reccently, of course. Need to go back into it...
University is tough. University with a part time job is even more difficult. But I'll get used to it~

New Doll: Foxy
Made this one as a gift to my friend Sara in exchange for a doll she made me. I think it took me a good 2 hours (maybe 3) or so total to hand sew this and add the details. Of course span that over a week because of damn work and preparing for the move.
I start university on the 7th. Scarey!

My hands are ripped open from printing.
10 Things my Zodiac Sign hates...
Pisces
Places that are too hot
Losing their sunglasses
Polluted water
People who laugh too loud
People who walk away from arguments
Alcoholics
Being denied access to grandchildren
Having to wear prescription glasses
Cars that waste energy
Slow drivers
And now time for some prints (really shitty photos of them atm, but I will upload better ones later).
(Long-eared + Eagle Owl) Blues Brothers, $60, edition of 8
(Spotted + N. Screech Owl) Blues Sisters, $60, edition of 8
(Great Horned Owl) Owl on Rpt., $75, edition of 6, 2 colours.
(Barn Owl) Bleu, $70, edition of 7, 3 colours.
I want to continue with this theme through the summer, but with screen printing and paintings. Maybe get a bit more colourful and "tribal". Add some more personalities to them like in the Blues series, because they're based off people I know. And the people I know have hella personality.

Doll #3
I haven't been working on too much lately, because I'm a bit tied up with a 24hour drawing for class right now. But in between barely there shifts at work and drawing like a madman... I have created this.
There's just a few little things left to do to her and then she's done. Her hair is so heavy that her head falls back...blah. Creation error on my part.
I'm also tied up a fair bit right now with University and moving dealings. 4 months now. =) So exciting.

Blogspot > livejournal
Uuhhh yeah, hi... up until this point I've been living off of lj, and I figured it is time for a change. This is me, and this is my art. I'm going to try to post regularly (at least every couple of days) with what I'm making, and try to convey my thought process. Which is fairly chaotic, but hopefully talking about my art will help me sort things out in the end.
When I put these up in critique someone said "It looks like they've been there for a while. That they've just given up."
Pretty much what I was going for, and I didn't have to say a thing. Other then the fact I was inspired by Margritte's painting of The Lovers. Somehow.
